being randomly selected to play in the Salida 3.5 League.  There is no maximum number of P2P members that can sign-up for this lottery event.  This sign-up will be available until 7/27/2024 and a random number generator will be applied to select 16 people to participate in league play (Salida 3.5 League play on Monday's in August from 6-8 p.m.).

Please refer to the P2P email distributed on 7/22 to all P2P members describing the August leagues and the process to be followed in selecting league participants. 

A few important rules to know before signing-up for this Salida 3.5 League lottery:

• Sign-up for only 1 of the trial leagues that are being run in August.   IMPORTANT:  If you sign-up for more than 1 league lottery, we will disqualify you from all.  We want to ensure everyone has an equal chance of random selection for participation in a league.
• If you played in any one of the June trial leagues, you will not have priority for consideration in this lottery.  However, if there are not enough people who sign up for the Salida 3.5 league to fill the 16 spots, those who played in the June trial leagues and register for this lottery sign-up, will be eligible for random selection to fill up the 16 available spots.
  
• Sign-up for this Salida 3.5 League lottery only if you are the appropriate skill level (e.g. High Intermediate).              
• Sign-up for this Salida 3.5 League lottery only if you can personally commit to all 4 weeks in June (8/5, 8/12, 8/19, 8/26) on Mondays from 6-8 p.m.  If you cannot make that time for all those dates (barring a family emergency or significant personal illness), please do not sign-up for this Salida 3.5 League lottery.  
• If you are interested in playing in this Salida 3.5 League but can't commit to all the dates reflected above (on Mondays 6-8 p.m.), please email Diane Cannella at dlcannella@gmail.com to add you to a list of substitutes in case someone has an emergency and needs to find a substitute.  
• If you are randomly selected to play in this Salida 3.5 League (and therefore committed to the 4 weeks of August play on Mondays from 6-8 pm) and have an emergency and cannot make a week, you will be responsible for finding a substitute for your replacement (a sub list will be provided to you at the beginning of the league).  The sub cannot be higher than a High Intermediate skill level.      
• There will be a non-refundable/non-transferable total cost of $40 for the 4 weeks of league play that will be paid in advance of the league. The $40 will be collected only from those randomly selected individuals who are committed to the Salida 3.5 League. The fee must be paid on-line via registration to a P2P website event to be set up specifically for Salida's 3.5 League. 

PLEASE BE SURE YOU CAN COMPLY WITH ALL OF THE RULES ABOVE PRIOR TO SIGNING UP FOR THIS SALIDA 3.5 LEAGUE LOTTERY.  THE FUTURE OF LEAGUE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE ENTIRE CLUB RESTS ON P2P MEMBERS FOLLOWING THE RULES AND HAVING RESPECT FOR ALL OTHER MEMBERS.
