Knock For Hunger 

The P2P Pickleball Club is excited about a new partnership that will give club members an opportunity to help feed our community.  Last year, Knock for Hunger, a local non-profit, collected 1,200 pounds of food.  This year, with the help from Peak to Peak volunteers, their goal is to increase the collection area and gather even more.  Knock for Hunger began collecting food donations, door to door, once a year for The Grainery, a non-profit that feeds the hungry in Chaffee County.

Food bags will be distributed in select neighborhoods of Salida and Poncha Springs.  On May 5th at 8:45 AM, our crew of volunteers will meet at the Chaffee County Fairground North Building to get routes for food pick-up.  Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers.  To join in the fun, contact bsampson5857@gmail.com.
