Attack, Defend, and Reset (Intermediate) – Thursday, September 30 This is both a technique and a strategy clinic. We’ll cover the benefits of a simple deep shot, and the failings of attacking too hard or too soon. Hitting and defending overheads. What to do when you hit a hard shot and it comes back even harder. And how to get yourself out of that crazy pickle you got yourself into!
John Wozencraft is an IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association) Certified Instructor and USA Pickleball Ambassador.
“I’ve been teaching workshops and private lessons for about three years, and teaching other arts most of my life. My background in tennis, dance, and yoga really help me see how your movements are either supporting or hindering the shots you want. If you don’t feel like you’re in control of your game, some coaching can really help. A great pickleball game comes from consistent shots, both hard ones and soft ones, knowing which one to choose, good teamwork, and a lot of patience! And the longer the point lasts, the more fun it gets.”
