Peak to Peak Pickleball

The Heart of the Rockies - Chaffee County, Colorado

Private Warehouse Court - Buena Vista - 105 Isabel Court

Small groups may reserve this single indoor pickleball court.  The court is available (by reservation) from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

Reserve your court HERE. *(The online court reserve system is not ready yet.  At this time, reserve your court via text or phone call to Stephanie McDonald at 281-685-3557.  Your court is reserved ONLY after receiving confirmation from Stephanie.  We expect the online court reserve system to be in place soon).

Court reservation fees:

$20 per 2 hour session (1 to 6 people) - pay on arrival, exact change, please!  During the COVID-19 restriction period, the fee is $5/person rather than the flat fee of $20 for a 2-hour session.

$10 additional instructor fee (if you are teaching a lesson and getting paid)

Court reservations:

Please reserve your court in advance through the Court Reservation app. * You will need to create a FREE membership account and sign the online waiver prior to making your first reservation.  Last minute and same day reservations are accepted pending availability.  This is all arranged play - no open play and no drop-in play!  Minimum reservation is a 2-hour time slot, with court availability from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.  You may reserve a court for group play, drills, practice with your own ball machine, or lessons (max 6 people).

Payment:

Please fill in the information on the front of the payment envelope, have all players insert their payment, seal the envelope and place it in the payment box.  Please pay with exact change and pay each time you play.  Your payment goes directly toward the warehouse rental.  Additional donations to offset the rental fee are accepted with appreciation.

Waivers:

Please make sure every player in your group has signed a waiver, either online or a hard copy.  This is required by the owner of the building.  Hard copy waivers are available at the facility.

Balls & Net:

Players will need to provide their own balls.  Balls will be available for purchase once we determine which ball works best on the floor surface.  Please use the payment envelope to purchase balls.  Please release the tension on the net after playing.

Cancellations:

Once you have booked a court, please consider it to be a commitment as a consideration to other players.  Last minute cancellations due to illness/injury or road conditions are understandable, but when possible, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Parking:

Please do not park near the front door.  Park in the section of the parking lot south of the south warehouse building.

Entrance:

Please enter through the front door to the building (Door A).  The outermost lockbox contains the key to the exterior door as well as a key to the warehouse door.  When you reserve your court, you will receive the code to the key lockbox.  Make sure the building is secured, lights are off, and keys are replaced in the lock box when you leave!  Please tumble the lockbox numbers after replacing the keys in the box.

Safety/Security:

Due to Fire Code, the front door to the building should remain unlocked when there is anyone inside.  However, if you do not feel comfortable leaving the door unlocked, please leave the key in the inside lock so that you can easily get out if necessary.  There are emergency exits near the garage door in the warehouse (where gymnastics enters) and near the restrooms inside the office building.

Log In:

The leasing agent for the building has asked that each player sign the log book indicating the date, time in, and time out.

Gymnastics:

We are sharing space with the BV Gymnastics Club.  Please do not enter their area or use their restroom.  If a ball goes over the barrier and into their area, you may retrieve it with caution for their equipment.  The Gymnastics Club practices Monday through Friday 4:30 - 8:30 and Saturday 9 a.m - 3 p.m.

Offices:

Be aware that some of the offices in the building ARE occupied so you may see others in the building.  One tenant often works evening/night hours.

Restrooms/Water:

There are two restrooms in the hall of the office section of the building.  Please use either of these two restrooms.  There is extra toilet paper and paper towels in the supply closet at the end of the hall.  The key to the supply closet is in the supply box on the table.  There is no water fountain in the building.  Please bring plenty of water!

Guest Players:

If you have a guest player (i.e. someone from out of town), they do not need to create a member account but DO need to sign a waiver prior to play.

Trash/General Cleaning:

Please dispose of trash and recycling in the appropriate receptacles.  Make sure each receptacle is sealed to discourage insect and rodent activity.  Your cooperation in helping keep this space neat and clean is appreciated!

Snow Removal:

If you are the first reservation of the day and the sidewalk needs to be shoveled, please do so.  Shovels are near the front door.

Obviously, this is a new venue and things may change over time.  If you have ideas or suggestions to improve this venue or if you have questions or problems, contact Stephanie McDonald at 281-685-3557.
